The Job of a Professional Sleeper
Although my parents would like me to become a doctor or a lawyer, I am interested in a very different kind of job. I would like to be a professional sleeper, someone who gets paid to sleep.
To become a professional sleeper, you must be 18 years old, meet requirements to participate in scientific studies and have the flexibility to work anytime or anywhere.
Professional sleepers are hired by big agencies, hotels and universities to evaluate lighting, noise, cleanliness, and overall comfort. In other words, they test mattresses and pillows, write detailed reports on comfort, room lighting, feelings, and noise disruption. For this reason, they occasionally take sleep aids that will help them fall asleep for medical trials.
I think, it is perfect for me. I am interested in sleeping and working with hotels. I like pillows, have the ability to sleep in new surroundings and have the ability to sleep with wires attached to me. I think there will be plenty of work for professional sleeper in the future, so unemployment will not be a problem.
