The
Job of a Professional Sleeper
Although my parents
would like me to become a doctor or a lawyer, I am interested in a very
different kind of job. I would like to be a professional sleeper, someone who
gets paid to sleep.
To become a
professional sleeper, you have to be 18 years old, meet requirements to
participate in scientific studies and have the flexibility to work anytime
or any place.
Professional sleepers
are hired by big agencies, hotels and universities to evaluate lighting, noise,
cleanliness and overall comfort. In other words , they test mattresses and
pillows, and write detailed reports on comfort, room lighting, feelings and noise
disruption. For this reason, they occasionally take sleep aids that will help
them fall asleep for medical trials.
In conclusion, being a professional
sleeper is not just a dream job for me, but a perfect match for my interests,
flexibility, and personality. I believe this career will grow in the future,
and I am excited to be part of it one day.
